About Holly

Holly Woodbury, MPA, CFRE has more than 20 years of experience in resource development leadership, management, and coaching. She brings a depth of knowledge in building fundraising capacity, soliciting major gifts, recruiting and managing volunteer leadership, identifying in-kind resources, researching and launching social enterprises, creating communications strategies, and establishing strategic partnerships. Her passion for this work has taken her around the world to lead teams for local, national, and international nonprofit organizations.

Holly is a resource development coach for The Children’s Trust Small CBO Capacity Building Institute, helping local nonprofits increase their fundraising and volunteer leadership infrastructure. Additionally, she serves as a management consultant to Stella’s Child, an internationally recognized nongovernmental organization advancing workforce development for disadvantaged Indonesian youth. Prior to these projects, for six years Holly led the development, marketing, and community outreach efforts for Chapman Partnership, the largest provider of emergency services to the homeless of Miami-Dade County. Preceding Holly’s move to South Florida, she managed fundraising campaigns for Denver Parks & Recreation,
Women’s Bean Project, and The Rocky Mountain Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

While at the helm of development and marketing departments in Miami and Denver, Holly created new and replicable fundraising initiatives, grew six and seven figure major gifts annually, developed restructuring plans, led the leadership team though agency rebranding, launched an award winning campaign, and reinvigorated organizational strategic planning and board engagement. Her successes and contagious positive energy have positioned Holly as a sought-after
industry strategist, public speaker, coach, and advocate.
